Comfort Emmanson, the Ibom Air passenger who went viral after a clash with a flight attendant, has opened up about the pain the incident has caused her.
She said the experience left her traumatized, ashamed, and stripped of her dignity. The trouble reportedly began when she was asked to turn off her phone. After landing, she went to the restroom and returned to find all the other passengers gone, leaving her alone with the attendant.
According to her, the attendant pulled off her wig, damaged her phone and necklace, and exposed her, which led to a recorded altercation. She added that the viral video has worsened her pain, as people have even turned her image into WhatsApp stickers.
“I feel too ashamed to go out because everyone has seen my body,” she lamented. “I work in real estate, and I don’t know how to face customers knowing my body is out there. How will I ever get married? Even my future children will see this. My reputation is gone. I am not a troublemaker, and I am still receiving hospital treatment.”
